SA Powerball GeneratorSA Powerball Rules and How to Play
To enter the SA Powerball, choose any five numbers from 1 to 50 and an extra number from 1 to 20. The prize is bigger for each number you guess correctly. You can win a small prize by guessing one right number.
Win the main prize by selecting all five numbers drawn correctly. You can also choose to add Powerball Plus to your ticket. This will give you an extra chance at winning.
Choose your numbers manually or select the Quick Pick option. The numbers you pick don't have to be in the same order as the numbers drawn for you to win.
Also choose how many lines you want to play and how many draws you want to enter. Confirm your selections and pay for your entry.
If the main prize is not won, it rolls over to the next draw. The prize money grows with each rollover. There is no cap to the number of rollovers.
The SA Powerball happens twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, at 21:00 SA time.
SA Powerball Plus Rules and How to Play
SA Powerball Plus is played in the same way as SA Powerball. Pick five numbers from 1 to 50 and an additional number from 1 to 20 for the SA Powerball. Do this with the Quick Pick option or your manual choices.
The prize grows with each number matched. Get the main prize by matching all the numbers correctly, but you can also win smaller prizes with few matched numbers.
Ensure you select the option to enter the SA Powerball Plus. You do not need to choose an extra set of numbers. The numbers you pick for the SA Powerball will also be entered into the SA Powerball Plus. The numbers drawn don't have to in the same order as your selection for you to win.
Separate draws happen for each. You cannot enter the Powerball Plus without entering the Powerball. Finalise your selection and pay for your ticket.
If there is no winner for the main prize, it rolls over to the following draw. The size of the prize money increases with each draw and there is no limit for the number of rollovers.
The SA Powerball Plus draw is twice per week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, shortly after 21:00 SA time.
